Andersens Kingaroy opened its doors in 1987 and is still run today by the same owners, husband and wife team Merv and Yvonne Pates. From the store’s humble beginnings, Andersens Kingaroy now boasts a staff of seventeen. This steady growth has meant that the store has had to move locations four times, and is now located at 135 Haly Street, right next door to the peanut silos which tower above the Kingaroy township.

Merv and Yvonne are currently the longest serving franchise store owners in the Andersens group. Both have impressive knowledge of floor coverings, with their combined experience in the field spanning over fifty-two years. They are also staunch supporters of their local community and actively demonstrate this by participating in local charity organisations and sponsoring local sporting teams, events, and locally produced shows.

Merv and Yvonne take pride in assisting new and existing homeowners in keeping up with the current trends in building and renovations. They also work alongside their builders to deliver and install products to suit the ever demanding time schedules of today.

All staff at Andersens Kingaroy is fully qualified to measure and install all products on offer, including an extensive range of timber, vinyl, ceramic tiles and of course an extensive range of carpet varieties. The Andersens Kingaroy Showroom also has a large range of window furnishings on display, including roller blinds, verticals, Romans, Venetians, panel blinds systems and outdoor awnings. Their Showroom is located directly next door to their warehouse, where a large range of product is stored and is therefore readily available for sale. Andersens Kingaroy really do have everything to keep your floors and windows covered!

Andersens Kingaroy covers all areas from Moore, at the foot of the Blackbutt range, to Bell at the foot of the Bunya Mountains, as well as the townships of Proston and Kilkivan.
