Some carpets are graded for their suitability for different applications. An experienced flooring consultant can advise which type of carpet is best for your application. Sometimes the most expensive option will not be the best choice for your requirements. For instance a person living alone in a small city town-house will have different flooring requirements to that of a large family with a number of young children.
Listed below is a brief description of the various strengths of carpet available. Another factor which is important in choosing the right carpet is the material and fibres used to construct it. Click on the Carpet Fibres page for information on choosing the right carpet fibre.
